Our work
CAfS delivers three main strands of work under the ESF funded Cumbria Green Build Training Programme aimed at householders; professionals and community organisations. These all involve training and information provision to build the skills needed in Cumbria to tackle energy efficiency our buildings.
We work in partnership with other organisations to deliver the programme, including local environmental networks and ‘Transition Town’ type groupings; local agencies such as Cumbria Woodlands, Cumbria Waste Management Environment Trust, the Heritage Skills Initiative; local government departments and local suppliers of sustainable solutions.
On these pages you will find further information on the project and how you can get involved in driving truly sustainable development in Cumbria.
